The existing African resources of each school and the status of exchanges with local countries

NTU now has several collaborations with three league universities in Africa, including University of Pretoria, Stellenbosch University and University of Cape Town. Besides, interns from College of Public Health also joined international activities and helped the local people against AIDS, TB, Malaria and Cholera in Malawi. From 2011 to 2019, a total of 19 interns from College of Public Health have been to Malawi. They collaborated with non-government organizations including Bjørgaas Foundation, Pingtung Christian Hospital and the Luke International to perform epidemiological investigations, data analysis and evaluations of disease prevention and also hold varied public health forums. On the other hands, Prof. Kun-Hsien Tsai from College of Public Health is also the short-term expert advisor of Taiwan Anti-malaria Advisory Mission in São Tomé and Príncipe, contributing malaria elimination in São Tomé and Príncipe, including to help the Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS), malaria cases examination and data analysis.
